Volunteer

Spring ClassAt the Gary Comer Youth Center, Volunteers are VIP (Very Important People). VIP’s assist staff and youth as hallway monitors, field trip monitors, and community relations stewards. They offer administrative support and help out with special events. Click here to download a Volunteer Application. Dates for monthly orientation sessions will be mailed to you once we receive your application.

 

 

 

Teach

Spring ClassThe Youth Center attracts the best and brightest instructors from around the city. If you have a passion for teaching youth in one of our five program tracks, send your resume and samples of your work to teach@gcychome.org for consideration in our next semester. Our program tracks include academics; arts and culture; civic engagement; college and career preparation and health and fitness.

The Revere Community Partners Fund was established to further the revitalization initiatives in the residential neighborhood served by the Gary Comer Youth Center and Paul Revere Elementary School. Presently, the Fund seeks financial support for program activities at the Gary Comer Youth Center. The Revere Community Partners Fund is an independent Illinois not-for-profit corporation managed by the Chicago Community Trust.

If you would like to support the Gary Comer Youth Center, tax-deductible contributions can be made out to Revere Community Partners Fund and addressed to:
