Paul Revere Alumni Association

The Paul Revere School and the Comer Science and Education Foundation established the Revere Alumni Association for graduates currently in grades 9-12. The program is designed to foster camaraderie among Revere graduates and encourage them to continue their education.

Homework Help is a tutorial program staffed by volunteers from the University of Chicago Neighborhood Schools Program. Students may drop in for assistance four days a week.

Support Program Placement matches students with cocurricular academic programs that enhance their academic, college, and career readiness.

Parent Meetings include workshops and programs aimed at helping parents become partners in their children’s education and post-secondary success.

High School Visits enable alumni staff to visit students for updates on academic and social progress and to provide intervention or support services if necessary.

Summer Employment Program allows recent Revere graduates to focus on employment readiness and the transition from high school to college.

Summer Alumni Program is a weekly series of workshops, speakers, college trips, and cultural outings designed to build cohesion and camaraderie among youth. This program is integrated into the employment program.

High School Scholarships are available to students who may apply for full-tuition coverage if they opt to attend select Chicago-area parochial high schools.

College Trips are organized monthly so students may experience college firsthand.

Cultural Enrichment Opportunities gives students the chance to participate in arts, athletic, academic, and college and career readiness programs through partnerships between leading youth programs and the Youth Center.

ACT/SAT Prep is offered to assist students with both content and format familiarity on the nation's two primary college admissions tests.

College Scholarship are available to active alumni who plan to pursue post-secondary education.

Revere Alumni Association Highlights

The Revere Alumni Association has established close partnerships with the University of Chicago; ACI College Readiness Program; HighSight; BankOne Saturday Scholars; Umoja and local businesses to benefit students.

Alumni are currently enrolled at colleges nationwide: Loyola University, University of Illinois, Rust College, Central State University, Embry Riddle University, and Southern Illinois. The current class of alumni are slated to attend a host of campuses: University of Illinois, Michigan State University, Chicago State University, and Clark Atlanta University.
